Tinne De Groot
Tinne De Groot is a teacher solfeggio and vocals at the Academy for Music and Word in Berchem, as well as pedagogic coordinator. In a previous life, she studied for educator. Later, she studied recorder, music theory and pedagogy at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp.
During 6 years, Tinne De Groot was the conductor of 'Kolor', a children's choir in Mechelen. Thanks to Tinne's efforts, the number of members increased considerably.
Since 2008 Tinne conducts Arti Ragazzi (children's choir) and Arti'sJok (youth choir). Together with Ronny Plovie and Koen Laukens, they performed productions such as 'Oliver Twist' and 'Brundibar'.
Recently, she was active in the Moonrize Productions, and in October 2009 she started with 'Amused', together with her husband Ronnie Plovie. More than once they played together at 'Open Monumentendag' and in 2007, they were invited to 'Flemish Spring' in Debrecen (Hungary).
